With today's technology savvy customers doing much of their shopping online, it's more important than ever for brick & mortar retailers to create an authentic experience for their customers to keep them coming back. So, what are other design and store fixture companies doing to provide these experiences? We went to
GlobalShop to find out. GlobalShop is the world's largest annual event for retail design and shopper marketing. We saw everything from tile and building materials to mannequins, lighting, displays and signage. Much of the show felt like we'd "been there, seen that," but there was some stand out creativity that rose above the clutter. Hopefully retailers who attended understand the importance of rising above and take a chance on authenticity to tell (and sell) their customers a story. Otherwise, they'll stay home and simply shop online.
